StremoTV ("we", "our", "us") is a media player application for Android and Android TV. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our application and website.

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to provide our services:

• Device Information: A unique device identifier is generated locally to identify your device for activation purposes. We collect basic device model information.
• Usage Data: We may collect anonymous usage statistics such as app version and last active timestamp to improve our services.
• Account Information: If you are a reseller, we collect your name, email address, and contact information provided during registration.

3. Optional Activity Sharing (Opt-In)

Stremo TV includes an optional, opt-in activity-sharing feature that is disabled by default. You may enable it during onboarding or at any time from Settings → Privacy. When enabled, and only while enabled, the app shares the following with the reseller who activated your device, for service quality and abuse prevention:

• Approximate country (derived from your device locale)
• IP address seen by our server at the time of a service check
• The channel name you are currently watching (no URLs, no content, no recordings)

You can disable this at any time. When you turn it off, any previously stored country, IP, and channel name tied to your device are cleared on the next service check. If you never enable it, none of this data is stored.

4. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect, store, or monitor the media content itself (no audio, no video, no screen captures)
• We do not collect your playlist URLs or credentials beyond what is stored locally on your device
• We do not track your viewing history on our servers unless you explicitly opt in to activity sharing, and even then we store only the current channel name, not a history
• We do not collect location data
• We do not use advertising trackers

5. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain our media player application
• To manage device activations and subscriptions
• To send service-related communications (activation confirmations, expiry notifications)
• To provide customer support
• To improve our application and services

6. Data Storage and Security

Your playlist credentials are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers. Device activation data is stored securely on our servers with industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access.

7. Third-Party Services

StremoTV does not share your personal information with third parties. We do not sell, trade, or rent your data. Our application may connect to third-party playlist servers that you configure — those connections are governed by the respective provider's privacy policies.

8. Data Retention

We retain device activation data for the duration of your subscription. Account data for resellers is retained while the account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

9. Children's Privacy

StremoTV is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data
