Delete Account & Data

StremoTV is a media player application that processes minimal data. You have full control to delete all your data from your device and our servers at any time, free of charge.

Option 1 — Delete inside the app (recommended)

  1. Open the StremoTV app on your device.
  2. Go to Settings → About → Delete My Data.
  3. Read the confirmation dialog, then tap Delete.
  4. The app will wipe all local data and restart automatically.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email us at [email protected] with subject line "Delete account" and include:

  • Your device short code (format: ST-XXXX-XXXX), shown on the activation screen or in Settings → Account.
  • Optional: a brief note if you want to explain.

We action all deletion requests within 7 calendar days and confirm by reply.

What gets deleted

  • Device record (short code + activation status).
  • Cached IPTV provider credentials (server URL, username, password).
  • Favorites and watch history.
  • Cached channel, movie, series catalog data.
  • Push notification token (FCM).
  • Optional weather-tile city override.
  • App settings and preferences.

What stays on your device

  • Video clips you recorded via the in-app recorder. These are local MP4 files on your phone storage; you can manage them in your file manager.

Retention timeline

Device records: deleted immediately on request. Anonymous usage logs (no personal identifiers) are kept for up to 30 days for security audit purposes, then permanently erased.
